Catching a gible!

It was another normal day for me and my chimchar, or that was what we though. We were looking through the forest, looking for somone to battle, but of course these days, with the legal limit being so low it wasn't hard to find somone. Me and chimchar were walking along when all of a sudden we saw a sudden flash of lighting, was it a pikachu? was it an elekid? That was what I wanted to find out, so I headed over and found it was somone battling with an electavire! "Hi, want to battle?" I said " I'm not that strong, but you can't be that strong if your only in these forests" I said to him"Ok noob, prepared to be owned!" he boasted "Bring it on... Go chimchar!" I commanded, and he attacked without command, using a powerful scratch on the electavires face, cuasing it to flinch. I knew this was my chance so I commanded chimchar to launch another, this time he headed for the stomach, and without any fighting back, the electavire fainted. After collecting my rewards, I headed further on until I reached a cave, I felt full of myself after winning the battle, so I headed on in. Early on in the cave, a group of gibles, lead by a gabite walked infront of me, and I saw a lone gible trying to catch up, I sent chimchar out and commanded him to scratch it which knocked it off balance, but it retaliated with a headbutt attack, which knocked my chimchar down " get up chimchar, I know you can do it!" I shouted, and commanded chimchar to use another scratch attack, this annoyed the gible and it retaliated with a scratch-headbutt combo which nearly caused chimchar to nearly faint! "Ok chimchar, lets finish this, use a leer to lower its defence, then use a scratch on it!" This really did it, and the gible fainted " good job chimchar, return!" I threw a pokeball at the fainted gible "alright, thats my first cought pokemon! Me you and chimchar are gonna be great friends, I know it" and I walked out of the cave, through the forest, and in to the sunlight skys of sinnoh.
